Streamline less sugar jams and marmalades conducted a study (amongst over 1,500 respondents) to discover what their perfect Mother’s Day breakfast would be.
Pancakes topped the chart jointly with the traditional cooked breakfast, each with 30% of the votes; this was followed by… anything so long as it is served in bed! Yes, mums do love a lie in and who could blame them.
We also all love a little bit of pampering, especially when it involves food! So let Mum have a snooze and whip up an extra special breakfast to show your love. We’ve put together some ideas that are bursting with delicious flavours and less sugar, to make her morning that little bit more indulgent.
- Sticky Plum and Blackcurrant Danish – these fruit pastries are a healthier version of the traditional tea-time treat but just as sticky and delicious as one would expect and perfect for a special occasion such as Mother’s Day.
