Spread the love and less sugar with these heart shaped waffles, perfect for a special treat on Mother’s Day, Valentines or any day!
Strawberry heart waffles
60g of buckwheat flour
150g of cashews
3 tbsp of Streamline strawberry jam for batter plus 2 tbsp for topping
1 tbsp of clear honey
½ tsp baking powder
In a bowl, mix buckwheat flour, baking powder and whisk to combine.
In a high-speed blender blend the cashews until it gives a fine powder; add cashew powder to dry ingredients and whisk to combine.
In another bowl, add the egg and honey, jam and beat until it creates a creamy texture.
Mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients and beat for 1 min until it creates a thick waffle batter.
Heat up a waffle iron and add 1 tbsp of batter at a time to make mini waffles or 2 tbsp of batter to make larger waffles.
Top with some Streamline strawberry jam and give your loved one the most delicious treat!
