Strawberry and Cocoa Hazelnut Crepes
125g whole wheat flour (you can use any gluten-free flour of choice )
30g unsweetened cocoa powder
55g lightly toasted hazelnuts
3 eggs
500ml plant based milk or milk of choice (alternatively water can be used as well, this can be adjusted to how thick or thin you want your crepes to be)
1 heaped tsp of vanilla bean paste
Pinch of salt
Oil spray to make the crepes
50g Streamline strawberry jam
50g low fat whipped cream (optional)
5 fresh strawberries (optional)
Place all the crepe ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until silky smooth.
Sieve the batter through to get rid of any lumps.
Heat up a crepe pan or a non-stick pan and spray with oil of choice. Using a ladle pour in the batter and turn the crepe pan to get an even crepe.
Cover with a lid for about 30-40 seconds and flip the crepe and cook for a further 30-40 seconds until crepe is fully cooked.
Simply spread the desired amount of jam and whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and fold or roll up the crepes to enjoy with a freshly brewed cuppa!
