French Toast Bowl with Fresh Berries and Blackcurrant Jam

Why not try this delicious recipe as an alternative to your breakfast cereal.  French toast with a hint of vanilla, topped with blackcurrant jam, fresh fruit and yogurt…  Just sweet enough for a perfect start to your day.

2 slices of wholewheat bread
1 egg
1 tsp of vanilla essence
60ml of milk
30g of Streamline jam
30g of Greek fat-free yoghurt
½ cup of berries of your choice

In a bowl, add egg, vanilla and milk and whisk until creamy.
Dip the bread slices in the mixture so that both sides of the bread slices are evenly coated.
Heat up a pan and cook the bread slices on both sides until light golden brown.
Cut up the French toast and add equally to two bowls.
Add 1 tbsp of blackcurrant jam, fresh berries and a spoonful of Greek yoghurt to each bowl.
